Metamórphōsis

The paradox of human nature. Industry is perceived by people as ugly, and it is at odds with the beauty of nature. By playing with these apparent contradictions, I question the way we interact with nature. Humans are increasingly leaving their mark on the earth: we deforested rainforests, we dump plastic into the oceans and we fill the atmosphere with greenhouse gases. In this film, the beauty and power of nature and man are combined with images of men in raw industry, which also shows how man plays as God and increasingly appropriates nature.
