a little bit about me
Dominique Michelle Gimberg (1994) is a fiction film director and editor. She graduated with honors at the Hogeschool Voor de Kunsten Utrecht (HKU) in 2018 with her short film Vlam (Spark). Vlam was premiered at the Nederlands Film Festival and got selected for Palm Springs International Film Festival in 2019. Dominique is a broad-minded filmmaker. Whether it is a narrative film, video clip, commercials or a fashion film. She finds it exciting to work on different types of projects and put her own twist on them. Besides telling the story her goal is to let the viewer experience the film. Her work is easily recognized by the colorful, poetic, flashy, humorous and fragmentary worlds she creates. Much of her work contains elements from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s.
Narrative Film & Series
Heat from Amsterdam is a family of creators with many different backgrounds and fields of expertise. Just like a family we are related to each other and will always have each other’s back. Our goal is to give the best guidance and support to our talented people in order for them to develop themselves into a household name in the game. Apart from that, we are here to focus on the needs of the makers.
We all believe it’s time for a change. There is a new generation of creative people knocking on the door. We are here to kick in the door for those new creative and sometimes young minds to take over the game. In the coaching agent and producer’s role, we are pushing our people to the next level. And protecting the power of their ideas.
Some may call it an agency, management, or a representatives office. We call it Heat. We watch each other grow. Try to help the Heatpack achieve their goals, hopes, wishes, and dreams.
